Installation

Measuring with the Eyes and Feet, articulates the place of women within an architectural space. By locating objects and text at ceiling height, around corners, and along the baseboards, the installation introduces the viewer to a physical experience of marginalization. Text from Measuring with the Eyes and Feet includes quotes from various feminist utopian communities, tracts on the domestic sphere, and quotes from women architects.

AN ENTERPRISE OF EARTH AND WOOD,
